File Verification Warnung all the time since 3 Days

Hello,

since 3 days on some of our Clients a lot of file verification Warnung (message on german : Dateibewertung Warnung) Pops up .
Waht can we do to stop this. The user always klicks that the download should be done, but the Popups does not stop!

Can somebody help?

The warning will stop as more people have downloaded the file.

Die warnung wird aufhören, da mehr leute die datei heruntergeladen haben.

Guten Tag,
ein Kunde von uns hat dieses Problem auch und das nervt.
Immer wenn ein user das Hotelprogramm Elite startet kommt am Server dieses Popup, das der User nicht sehen kann und auch nicht quittieren kann.
Außerdem wurde das Popup zwischenzeitig schon zigfach positiv beantwortet aber Avast merkt sich das nicht.
Das selbe Problem habe ich beim NovaBackup von Novastore, das sollte ja in der Nacht unbeaufsichtigt starten - da kommt auch diese sinnlose Meldung.
Sie werden es an meinem Schreibstil merken, dass ich sehr genervt bin - ich brauch da unbedingt eine Lösung.
Der Support von Avast war vor Jahren so super aber heute ist er eine Katastrophe.

Hallo,

Super ich spreche auch deutsch. Ich schicke euch noch ein Screeshot mit der Meldung.
Auf den meisten PCs tauschen diese Meldung ununterbrochen auf. Die User sind völlig genervt! Hat jemand eine Idee?
Hab schon ein Support bei Avast offen, aber mal sehen wie gut die sind!

Ich habe vor 5 Tagen eine False positive -Fehlermeldung aufgegeben und von Avast bis heute noch keine Antwort bekommen.
Der Support von Avast ist zum Vergessen - meine Kunden machen mir die Hölle heiß.

Statement vom Business-Team: [i]Regarding the recent increase in false virus detections

Hi Everyone, we have questions about why there have been more than usual in the past few months. We want to keep our customers and partners informed as to what can cause a false detection. Our Antivirus application uses multiple methods for identifying malware and other threats. One of the primary methods of threat detection uses static definitions. These definitions use hash values and other semantic knowledge to summarize a file or process’ contents. In the past few months there has been a significant increase in the rate of Microsoft signed files being detected in particular, which coincides with changes to the way they sign files. Our static definitions check this signature, and because the new signature style does not match our static definitions this sometimes results in a False detection.

There are other factors beyond the Microsoft signature that have also contributed to the recent increase in the number of false detections, but most occur under similar circumstances. We do also have some advice regarding what to do when an infection is detected that we recommend our customers and partners follow before contacting our technical support team. First, we recommend going to virustotal.com and submit a copy of this file to be scanned. Avast is a partner of VirusTotal, which scans submitted files against multiple Antivirus applications in order to determine whether the file is safe. In these cases you can check which Antivirus applications and how many detect the file as infected to determine if that file may be a false positive. After uploading to VirusTotal, if the results indicate the file is infected or if you are still uncertain, please upload a copy of the file to our Virus Labs.[/i]

Hi,
The message (if my German doesn’t fail me) just says that the file is new or low prevalent. Here are some options what you can do:

Digitally sign your files. Good reputation of digsig can supress the warning even though the file is new.
Send me the hashes of the files that are marked as new/low prevalent (or upload them to virustotal and post the links here).
