anybody please help me :-[ !
after scan,i found 5 warnings in my file
the available button is only 2.ignore and go to next unprocessed and other services
i try to click other service-delete,but nothing happened.
i cant used the repair and virus chest button, since those are not viruses…what should i do??
Can you say what is the infected file name, where was it found (C:\windows\system32\infected-file-name.xxx)?
What avast! version and virus database are you using? (see About dialog of avast!)
I don’t know where to go for help! As I am given messages that viruses or other problems are found, I attempt to send “to chest”, and am given a message that there is not enough space on the disc, and nothing other than delete file will remove this message. I fear I am taking out necessary files by doing this, and may be compromising files that my operating system needs in the process. My system does, as far as I know, have sufficient space on the disc to accomplish said task, but am informed otherwise. I don’t understand why I am being given this message, or how to remove whatever problem I am being instructed to react to. How should I react to messages such as this, and what can I do to resolve this problem, when it appears?
ratlsnkshk, Right click on the “A” ball in the system tray and click on program settings, click on chest, go to the maximum size of the chest and adjust the size.
You could also try to delete some of the older files in the chest after you scan them to make sure they’re still showing as infected.
I have done as you suggested, but am concerned as to whether I have deleted some files in my operating system already, by attempting to eliminate infected files. Is there any way I can determine if this is the case, and if so, how can I repair this?
Good to hear from you
then
really sorry to hear the news
what the hell happened?
do you have a log of what was found
of course some say that this can’t happen with Mac’s…
