"FilerepMalware.metagen[mslware]"

Can someone please tell me what a "FileRepMetagen[maleware] is? I have an assembly/disassembly utility on my computer, that I used while building some basic software for running my wifes tanning salon. The software is not fully finished, but is functional enough that we’ve been testing the software at the shop. I’ve kept the program to test, debug, and rewrite the software as needed when a glitch pops up. I haven’t had to use the program for a couple months, and if we continue to find no glitches, will most likely remove the software.

Since recently updating Avast Antivirus to the 2014 version, it’s been flagging and quarantining the assembly/disassembly program, indicating it’s infected with “FileRepMetagen[malware]”. I haven’t a clue what that is and would like to know if it’s something that is going to damage my pc system or nor? If the software is being flagged simply because it an assembly/disassembly utility, what can I do the stop Avast from checking and moving it to the Virus chest? The Assembly/disassembly utility I’m using is “W32DASM”, that I use in conjuncton with "HIEW.
