files.avast.com (virustotal results)

Hi,

i just scanned the download link for the latest avast version (files.avast.com/iavs9x). There was also a js script which was downloaded (https://www.virustotal.com/de/url/1c4ec1ea4dec6eb1ceebccbf5713050d4a4453c448b01033c2f1c81301bac3c2/analysis/). Comments suggest that this is malware. Since this files is only 1 Byte i think this is some kind of generic alarm but i dont know :slight_smile:

Can someone with knowledge clear things up for me?

Thanks Asyn. But do you mean the Pareto result or the comments on the js file which was downloaded (https://www.virustotal.com/de/file/01ba4719c80b6fe911b091a7c05124b64eeece964e09c058ef8f9805daca546b/analysis/1391057354/) or both? :smiley:
