Finally purchasing avast! pro.

I can’t justify not purchasing avast! anymore. It’s the best. I’m steping into the light side. I just want to confirm some things before I purchase.

1. maintenance contract - I’ve been screwed by other products before. Does the maintenance contract cover everything! I know sometimes for example, it means upgrades within numbered versions, like 4.7.xxx to 4.8.xxx but not 4.x.xxx to 5.x.xxx.

2. are there any benefits (discounts and such) for students or for renewals and the like.

Fill in anything I forgot. Looking forward to hearing back and taking the dive.

Major updates (4.x.xxx to 5.x.xxx) are included during the license time. Maybe you’ll need to ask a new key (if it will be necessary).
