find computers doesn't find anything

Hi,
I’m testing Avast adnm before possibly buying Avast for my company.

My problem is that computers discovery doesn’t discover anything. not even the server it runs on !!!

The network neibourhood is ok as i can see all my domains and workgroups.
There is no fw on the server running adnm.
This server is an AD Domain Controler.

W2003 server SE SP1

NB the first time i ran discovery, it took 15 Min, but now only 2 Min.
I’ve added 2 Pcs manually, but adnm is not able to gime me the OS when i view them in the computer catalog.

  1. Ad the discovery task: is the “include hosts with unresolvable IP addresses” option checked in the Discovery task’s properties? (Detection tab)

  2. Ad the 2 machines: so, these machine already have avast installed? Do they communicate? Are their icons in the Catalog green?
