I am using HP Pavilion laptop. I downloaded Avast software. When I was trying to clean the space and speed the running process up. Avast advised to disable the finger print logon. I accepted and it was disabled. Now I want to enable it back. I don’t know how to do it. I would appreciate if you any could advise me. Thank you in advance.
Check in Task manager/Start-up, should be an option in there to start hopefully :-\
Thanks Craig for replying. Already tried before asking assistance in this forum. I rescanned my fingerprints. Still unable to logon with fingerprint.
Which Avast product & version are we talking about…?
Avast free antivirus
Program Version: 18.7.2354 (Build 18.7.4041.389)
Virus definitions version: 181110-2
Hmmm, there’s no such function in Avast Free, afaik - but wait for one of the free users.
I qualify as a free user but have never encountered that function.
It certainly isn’t a function/setting in Avast free
I would imagine it is part of the HP Pavilion settings - a search for
HP Pavilion laptop finger print logon returned many hits a couple of those were video clips.

Try one of those hits and see if it helps.
