Firefox 3.0.12 Released

As posted in Updates thread:

When checking from Admin account, ‘Check for Updates’ offered me Firefox 3.5.

Ended up downloading 3.0.12 and install on top of 3.0.11.

! will now go and delete about using the update function in Firefox. In the Update thread.
I will also place about using the inbuilt updater as it will want to install 3.5.1 version

Pete,

Just read about someone who had used the internal updater to go from
3.0.11 to 3.0.12.

I was offered 3.5 so I’m a bit confused by this now. :wink:

Let’s hear what others have to say.

EDIT: I spoke too soon, 3.0.12 and forwards will bring you automatically to 3.5.x,
according to this article:

I must have tried updating before 3.0.12 was ready on the servers.

Firefox just automatically updated me to 3.0.12. I guess they are giving us the choice to upgrade to 3.5 which is a good idea since there have been so many problems. I just shut down the automatic updates too, and have asked them to ask me first.
