Firefox 3 install

I am wondering what the experience with Firefox 3 is.

Trying to decide whether to remove ff2 and then do a clean install of ff3 or to just install 3 over 2.
Would the clean install reduce the clutter left from ff2? I only want to have ff3 on the computer.

Is ff3 working ok and compatible with Avast?

I wouldn’t know as I use IE7 with IE7Pro and they work great with avast!

works great with avast! no problem :) and i would recommend an uninstall of ff2 then install ff3 ;)

There is no need to uninstall FF2 as FF3 setup recognizes, updates and cleans the no longer needed files. That’s what it did for me and everything is fine!!! :smiley:

I didn’t bother with an uninstall either just updated to FF3.0 and no problem, other than some ad-ons aren’t yet compatible but that is changing slowly. None of my essential add-ons have any compatibility issue.

There is absolutely no way that I would use that, it is like using a shotgun when you need a sniper rifle.
