What is Wolfram Alpha Google results?

Hi Tech,

Quite some time you studied math, else you would have known about this brilliant search-tool with only one mathematical answer to your query posible - the right one. At the moment we don’t know, whether this is just brilliant or just another over-hyped Web 2.0 issue. Go look for yourself, it is new, it is beta and it is a Google rival: http://www.wolframalpha.com & read about it here: /http://education.zdnet.com/?p=2231

Enjoy this search engine my friend,

polonus

Thanks Polonus… It’s a little beyond my day-by-day usage…

it is beta and it is a Google rival
Only for a very limited and highly specialized search not used by the averge person.....

Hmmm … I found out some interesting info by just using common words. It all depends on what the average person is wanting to know.

I did enter a few things it could not answer. Oh … maybe I’m not average? ??? :o :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks for the link, Polonus.

Hi Polonus

It’s not really a “Google rival”. It doesn’t search the web. It attempts to answer from its own database, more like your own ability to recall and apply the vast accumulated knowledge in your own brain.

I entered bob3160 into the search engine and found out the following:

I personally don’t think I’m worth that much… ;D ;D
