No. The warning message I’m talking about is not part of the website. It’s in a popup dialog of Firefox. See my first post for pictures. You have to click the padlock icon (
) to the left of the URL to show the Site information popup dialog of Firefox. For a HTTPS site it says Connection secure and
- no warning message (if the company name is available in the certificate it is shown too), or
- the warning message Connection verified by a certificate issuer that is not recognized by Mozilla.
You have to open the Site information popup to check whether you have the warning message. Additionally, whether there is a warning message or not, tends to depend on the number of sites you have visited since you started the computer. After start, the first few HTTPS sites usually work (i.e., show no warning message). That’s why I gave in my reply 20 HTTPS sites to try at once. If you use Firefox, you should see a warning message at least in case of one of them. Tell me, what you’ve seen.
