Firefox hangs when run in Sandboxie with Avast7..

I am using Firefox 10.0.02. Worked perfectly fine until I updated Avast6 to Avast7. Now it hangs when I open it in Sandboxie – I have tried it with Avast “browser protection” uninstalled in order to remove Avast’s sandbox feature without any change.

Firefox will open but then hang without ever loading my homepage and navigation elsewhere is impossible (i.e., the dreaded “firefox is not responding” message). On one occasion after 12 minutes or so my homepage loaded, but then when I attempted to navigate to here (of all places) it hung again and did not recover.

Firefox opens and navigates fine when I use it outside of a sandbox.

Fix?

Had the same problem today but after updating Sandboxie to version 3.64 everything went fine again

To quote Homer Simpson, “D’oh!” Uninstalled/reinstalled Avast with no effect but neglected to check for Sandboxie update. Works now, however it IS noticeably slower than the un-sanboxed version.
