When I use Ff I keep getting a Pop Up telling me that Firefox refuses to open a link to another page (unless I click on options, and tell it to allow)
Is this caused by Avast?
An image would help, but it doesn’t sound like an avast notification/alert.
It sounds more like something from WOT or other ff add-on, what other security/blocking based add-ons do you have on firefox (and what ff version) ?
It is the usual pop down on top of the page from Ff. I suspect it is caused by the avast Ff add-on "Avast Online Security 8.0.1489
Next time it happens I can upload a picture, but it is the usual Ff pop up

That is a Firefox message. In Firefox, go to Options | Advanced tab | General tab. Uncheck “Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page”.
