Not something I’m that interested in, I would have thought that the ISC org would have had a nice selection, that is why I took a look.
Hi nmb,
I certainly would know what extensions/plug-ins I could not do without for in-browser-security. First and foremost NP alias NoScript, then RP, request policy, ABP to keep the ads etc. off, and a couple of other security related I use. CSP because the latest 3.7 test version has the functionality aboard.
When mentioned extension are missing, I would not like to touch that flaw of Mozilla browser.
There is always a discrepancy between in-browser security and tracking transparency - that is why NS would never be inside Firefox and Flock browser by default (Fx and Google live hand in foot. etc.),
for the same reason Palant’s extension, ABP or something similar will never make it inside Google Chrome, they now brought AdBlock by Mark8t.com as an extension to Google Chrome.
Flash cookies remain a problem in browsers (NS solves the problem), the malicious SSL certificates bug was only repaired for Fx, other browsers still vulnerable. So the security unaware browser user is still an easy target without the avast shield to protect. Without in-browser security or the shield protection every browser user is a sitting duck for malicious infections of websites,
