firefox refuses to open after booting OS (Windows 7)

Now I am missing my Accessories folder. I am also getting the popup window that says “Your PC performance is poor.” See the other posting that I uploaded in the Pro forum in order to get a handle on the scope of this problem.

Could a worm be the root of these problems?
