Firefox won't allow me to login to the forum

Can’t logon to the forum from Firefox (see attached screenshot.) Safezone browser works just fine, as you can see from this post. Also Firefox Avast password doesn’t work any more. I can add the extension to Firefox, but the Avast password icon does nothing.

That looks like the username you used when you attempted to sign onto the forum was banned.
That has nothing to do with the password not working.
What is the forum username that you have trouble signing into the forum with ???

Sorry for the confusion.

I can login to the forum using Avast Secure Browser. I can not login to the forum using Firefox, it gives me the above screen captured error message and ignores any clicking or login attempts, so I can’t tell you what the forum thinks my username is.

Yes, I am using Avast VPN in both Firefox and Avast Secure Browser

I only have one username for my Avast login, however I am not logging in. I simply enter the forum and I am presented with the above error message in Firefox. If you look at the screenshot above you can see the Forum says “Sorry Guest, you are banned from using this forum! This ban is not set to expire.”

I’ve reported this to Avast. Let’s see what they have to say.

Are you using a VPN ??? If so, which one. ???
Try changing your location if you’re using a VPN or try it without using the VPN.

How long ago did this happen and were you logging on as you are now ?
e.g. looks like you aren’t banned on these credentials, user name, email, IP address.

If you happen to be using a VPN on occasion the IP location may be blocked.

EDIT: I can’t see anything on your username, email or the IP address you have used. A bit of a mystery.

Its just a Firefox problem, even with all addons disabled (Tested today) - please fix ASAP as Firefox is my default browser.

Not a problem on Chrome or Edge

No issue on my firefox installations:
Firefox 68.0 (64-bit) on my win10 system and avast 19.6.2383.
Firefox 52.9.0 (32-bit) old ESR on my XP Pro SP3 system and avast18.5.2342

No problem here either. Same version of FF as yours.
I suggest you check your add-ons to make sure none of them are blocking your ability to log into the forum.

As previously stated it’s not the addons - all have been disabled

Must be something else.
