Firefox

when i tried to watch online videos with firefox 1.0.5, a messege pops up and says that it performed an illegal operation, and something about the dynamic plugin library, suggesting me to restart the “navigator”, happens everytime, no problem with maxthon.

anybody know what the problem is? Thanks.

Er, no sorry.

Try updating Firefox to 1.0.6

Or maybe… this question would be more appropriate for Firefox support forums. That looks like their field of interest, and also, they should be informed about all “bugs” and “glitches”, so they can work on fixes.

Cheers !

If I’m not mistaken, in another post you mentioned turning off flash because you
didn’t like all the pop ups.
Maybe what you’re trying to watch requires flash?

It appears that this may be a plugin issue?? In the address bar of FF type “about:plugins” without quotes

to view plugins installed and their state.

i just found that it’s a problem with the extension “no script”, if i disable it, everything works fine, if i turn it on again, the error messeges come.

Do u guys have the same problem for this extension?

I’ve used it some time ago, but now I’ve get rid of it as it’s still very buggy. :-\

If you had visited the firefox forums and possibly the home page for the extension I think you would have seen that this has had problems in the past.

Crashed too many times by Rachelhuskies, July 21, 2005 2:01am

I’ve had it over a week and every time I was on the Internet, my computer crashed. Incredible. Every single time. I deinstalled yesterday and my computer works fine without any problem. Some users experienced the same problem but others don’t. I don’t know where the difference come from.
