Firewall Alert

I’ve been getting an alert from Sygate free which says:
Win32 Kernel core component (Kernel32.dll) has received a Broadcast packet from the remote machine with (isp number belonging to my ISP). The remote address was from the US - internet assigned numbers authority.

I allowed a couple of times but the last time I only closed the alert box, as was not sure. Now I am constantly getting an alert that it has been blocked.

Is this an OK thing to allow?

Is there any info anywhere that kind of guides a person as to what is not a good thing to allow?

Judging by your other post, I think you might have prevented avast from updating ???

Hi Cim, like bob3160 said more detail will help. Sygate has a great log file that might help. Or post a screenshot of the alerts.
