i hav download the files required and run them and inserted the license but still my firewall and antispam refuse to work, can anyone give me some info on how to resolve this problem.

How did you uninstall them?
What version of avast! did you download ?
What operating system ?
currenty running windows 7, and avast! Internet Security 5.0, just trying to update from avast pro as our subscription is on its way out
