firewall doesn't run

Hallo, I’ve bought the licence to upgrade to “avast! Internet Security (3 PCs, 1 year)”, i’ve done all the passage to upgrade to the new version (that now is on) but the firewall doesn’t work and it is impossible to activate it. On my pc is also active “spyware terminator center” but I’ve read on internet that there isn’t incompatibility. What can I do?

I’d better directly download AIS.

So, what to do now? disinstall the current avast and download directly from the site whit the license I’ve recived?

Repair avast:

  1. Control Panel - Add/Remove programs - avast!
  2. Scroll down and click on ‘Repair’.
  3. Follow instructions.

Then reboot immediately after the “repair” finished. After the reboot, please test and report back.

There is no “repair” voice in control panel,…!

For repairing

one step has to be added.

Just making it clear…

  1. Go to Control Panel - Add/Remove programs
  2. Select avast and then go for uninstall option
  3. There you will be getting avast uninstallation wizard, Scroll down and click on ‘Repair’( last option).
  4. Follow instructions.

Double click on avast in remove programs and when you get the popup screen then scroll down to repair, reboot after running.

If that does not work then i would try the clean install of AIS.
