Firewall Installation Fail

Hello i’ve got a problem with the installation of AVAST 5.1 security suite. When i install it there is always a failure wich says that there was a problem with the installation of the driver. I’ve got Windows 7 Ultimate and i run the Installation as Administrator. After the installation there is no way to activate the Avast functions. When i try to activate the functions it says that the Service isn’t startet.

Hi…

I have had avast! 5, avast! 6 firewall and avast service installation fail. Then I take off Zemana Antilogger and with uninstalling Zemana Antilogger everything went fine. Now with reinstaling Zemana everything is good.

I had the same problem on a Vista system (none on two Win7). Support asked me to try ver 6, but I had the same results. (I did find I like ver 6!) Currently support has me report log and I am waiting for a response once they have a chance to look it over.

I asked the same question in this thread. Unfortunately none of those suggestions worked either.

I was thinking it might be my Vista system and I was the only one, but apparently not. I’ll try to respond if I get a fix from support.
