Why isn’t there any blocked traffic in the firewall logs?
I think I found the problem. I believe my router firewall is blocking all the inbound traffic before it reaches the Avast firewall. The router firewall is not as detailed and easy to understand as the Avast firewall appears to be, so I’m going to turn off my router firewall, and see if Avast catches all the inbound traffic.
Hi, under firewall settings>policies>preferences there is an option to log all blocked packets. Hope that helps.
Thank you for your reply. My router firewall was catching the inbound traffic first. I turned off the router firewall, and Avast started logging the inbound traffic. It’s good to have two firewalls If AT&T’s firewall misses something, maybe Avast will stop it. I noticed that Google tried many times to access my computer, even though I don’t use Google, and have no Google programs on my computer.
