Since installing the Internet Security version of AVAST, i consistently get pop-up messages for the Firewall whenever i connect or disconnect to the internet. Primus is my internet service provider.
The message is always the same and appears as follows…
“The firewall has detected one of your networks and has automatically changed the firewall mode to Private/Low Risk Zone.”
The network name changes depending on whether i’m connecting or disconnecting.
When connecting to the internet, the network name shown is Primus Telecommunications Canada Inc (WAN(PPP/SLIP) Interface, CA)
When disconnecting from the internet, the network name shown is Marvell Yukon Gigabit.
As mentioned, i get these same messages every time i connect or disconnect from the internet.
Is there anyway to suppress them without suppressing all AVAST pop-up messages?
