Hello, I am dealing serious issue with firewall.
I set rules for Firebird to allow any connection. But it only works till I restart PC. After restart the rule is still there but it is not working. Connection to firebird app from other computers is not working. I have to a) turn off firewall b) re-install avast.
I don’t know how to reach anybody from support team.
Can anybody help with this situation?
Is firewall network profile in puplic or private mode?
If not already done try private and reboot

Because public networks present greater security risks, no incoming communication is permitted when this profile is set.

Oh, oh sorry - if there some more information - I’ll try to provide.
Both computers runs windows 10, both profiles are set to private.
The strange thing for me is that it works properly after repair or re-install but after rebooting connection is not available.
Avast Premium - last version available
OS Windows 10 64bit, build 18362.418
No other installed security sw, only windows defender and Avast
Last AV was Avast IS - uninstalled due to same problem and installed Premium - no other AV SW was in both comupters.
