Firewall will not start after last windows Updates.

The firewall in Premier will not start up, the windows firewall is running but the avast won’t start? Anyone experiencing this and hopefully a solution?

controlpanel > ad/remove programs > avast > uninstall/change > repair option … wait a minute and reboot

Worked for me in Win 7 after December Windows updates killed the Avast Internet Security firewall. Thanks!
