Firewall Won't Start

I just purchased the internet security suite, inserted license file into existing free version, rebooted and the firewall says “service stopped”, I have pushed every button in the interface to no avail.
I am on a win7 64 bit machine.
Is there something I am supposed to do to get the firewall working?

Try a repair installation via Win control panel and reboot.

That didn’t work, there is no “repair” option so I used “change” and added behavior shiled. Didn’t change the firewall. I uninstalled and reinstalled and it works now. Thanks.

Actually, you could have got it working, it just takes manually hitting the ‘STOP’ button, I know, I know, its not on to begin with…then you hist the ‘START’ button upto three times. This usually does the trick. I have tried the repair option, and reinstalling to usually be left with the same outcome. The start/restart x3 has been the only REAL fix.

I still think its an error with the enitre activation process as this ACTUALLY changed my windows license, locking me out of EVERYTHING but my desktop, when I didnt have any service packs installed.

Nope, I tried that. I hit stop, start, turn on, fix, stop again, reboot, looked for a service to start manually, nothing worked accept uninstall/reinstall
