first two letters of file titles being changed to ~$ then not working??

I do not know if this is a security issue or just something else I need to learn. I have had this problem a long long time only with some files.

Another problem is I will be doing something quite mundane like trying to copy a file and it will NOT copy.

I may be crazy but it does seem to be somebody can control my computer as it is usually an important bit of information that will not copy - paste.

Ok this is my deal I have had a hell of time with antidepressants and have been researching and posting what I find on websites that are trying to out the truth about them.

You can surmise from my drug use that I am paranoid you would not be the first but try to keep that to yourself as much as possible and focus on what I need help with. Is this possible for another to control my computer at will and if so I do I find it and stop it.
What of the corrupt files?

Take it easy on me I am just learning so please explain things step by step.
Thanks Sandy

maybe picture can explain more than words to all reader

if you referring to this (see picture)

it is the host of Microsoft word. that meaning the real file is running
something like mechanism of running program

sometimes its appear because your work is not done yet the you turn off your computer.

Regards!!!

yes that is it
I am however done working with the file
often long done like days or wks later the file changes

it is only the back-up file of the original files that you work with.
maybe you edit and save your original file into other folder. but this file lift to where you originally open the file

and it is not corrupted. this files holds only the changes you made in the original file. that make you think its corrupted.

What version is your MS-office?

Sorry I don’t know and don’t know how to find out.

Microsoft office version 2002,2003.2007,2010? i mean

BTW you need only to hide it. so that it will not shown, set-up your folder option. (see Pic)
you need only to check those two items

Regards!!!

Thanks
