Fix forum posting system please, it's broken sometimes!

avast! forum admins, can you please check what’s going on with posting system here on forums? This was the second time today that I was typing a post, clicked POST button and it just opened up an empty post field while not posting the text I’ve written. Imagine how bad that is when you spend 10-15 minutes writing something and the forum glitches out, erasing all your text when you want to actually post it. Not cool. I was lucky going back remembered the text, but most often it doesn’t.

I’m using Firefox 49.0.1 on Win10 Redstone. I’m also using uBlock and built-in Privacy Protection in Firefox for normal mode, not just Private Mode. If it maybe makes a difference, not sure.

Not sure, but updating to SMF 2.0.12 might fix it.

No, updating doesn’t fix it as avast has changed some of the code in the SMF software.
The original software doesn’t have this problem.

But I doubt avast will ever fix it.
We have been asking for it 2(?) years already.

The forum has had that problem since they supposedly fixed the forum after the hack in 2014, very annoying.

They can add horrible colour changes but fail to fix the things that really matter :frowning:
