Fix Now Button Not Activating

Hi there

I recently installed the new Avast onto my computer after picking up a trojan from somewhere. I had to uninstall the previous version and do a clean avast install.

After installing the new avast, it picked up the trojan but there is one problem i am experiencing. The fix now button on my avast is not working and thus the real time shield is not active.

Please advise how do I solve this?I have also tried clicking on the Fix Now button but this doesn’t do anything.

Repair avast:

  1. Control Panel - Add/Remove programs - avast!
  2. Scroll down and click on ‘Repair’.
  3. Follow instructions.
