Hey guys, just downloaded and installed the Avast free edition, problem I’m encountering occurs when I insert 1 of my flash drives. Avast detects the autorun.inf file as a threat and just repeats the message “threat detected” the whole frickin time. What can I do to make the software ignores that specific file. Any help or suggestions will be much appreciated.
Try
Flash Disinfector

Let your USB drive plugged and run Autorun Eater or Flash Disinfector, allowing them to clean up all drives. They would create hidden folders named autorun.inf in each partition and every USB drive plugged in when you ran it. These folders protect your drives from future infection. After that, reboot your computer.
Thanks for the prompt reply Pondus, tried what you suggested and it seems ok now. Thanks so much for your help, really appreciate it
