I’ve been trying to get answers on this everywhere but can’t seem to find anything, so figured I’d put it out here on this forum since you guys haves usually responded promptly to any posts I’ve made to help.
For the past month I’ve been having this issue where there is a split second flash upon the loading of flash videos and ads on webpages, I’ve included some screens that I captured of the issue.
The video then goes on to play normally with no real issues besides occasionally being slow, I don’t have the world’s greatest net connection in honesty. It appears to be an issue linked to Chrome as I’ve never seen it happen in IE. I can note that I fixed the problem once by switching off a flash plug in chrome but since a more recent update it has reverted back to a single flash plug-in and the problem has appeared again.
I’ve re installed chrome 4 times and it’s still an issue it appears, does anyone have any idea what it is? Have they seen anything like this before? I can’t believe I’m the only person this has happened to. I seriously cannot find anything about the issue anywhere else besides queries I’ve made. Chrome have been no help, flash as well… so wondering if any of you guys had any ideas?
I can ad that in the past 2 months Avast! hasn’t noticed any viruses or malware related to this, nor has Malwarebytes.
From time to time I get pop-up ads that flash then disappear. Have you tried to uninstall your browser(s) then re-install them?
This doesn’t seem to be avast related. So the only thing I can think of is your browser settings. Another thing is sometimes it’s
better to completely uninstall flash then re-install. I use Chrome,Firefox and Pale Moon and I have never seen anything to the extent you have experienced.
I’ve actually re installed the browser twice and both times still seem to get this, the thing is flash is embedded into chrome, so I assumed that flash would be fixed when I re installed the browser but it doesn’t appear to get rid of the flashing. It’s not really the case of ads flashing and disappearing, these things in the screenshots flash BEFORE the actual video or add is loaded onto the page, like a split second.
I did one time fix it be disabling one of the flash plugins, but chrome did an update which made the flash plug in one thing… meaning I can only disable it and have all flash disabled.
I just wasn’t sure if It was something to be overly bothered about, or if anyone had seem something like this before, I’ve tried to get help with it everywhere but it either gets ignored or is not seen.
