Oh also everytime I reboot the System comes up and wants me to rename the computer.
Windows Security Alert… No Antivirus Available.
What have I done.
Found out I got this on Feb. 6th 2009
I tried to fix Avast
I uninstalled Avast and downloaded new
I updated Windows Vista
I have run Avast and it found no viruses.
I have tried to find flist[1].js and freescan[1].htm
But they must be hidden.
The AAVM RPC Error is frequently associated with having another AV installed or remnants left after an uninstall (it could also have something to do with the ms word issue).
Have (or did) you another AV installed in this system, if so what was it and how did you get rid of it ?
I have tried to find flist[1].js and freescan[1].htm
This is associated with rogue/fake security application.
If you haven’t already got this software (freeware), download, install, update and run it, preferably in safe mode and report the findings (it should product a log file).
