Font in GUI difficult to read

Hi

I have noticed a problem with the Avast installed on a friends computer. The font in the GUI is very difficult to read.
Avast 5.0.677 free edition
Windows XP

Take a look at the attached image.

Look’s normal to me, maybe a pair of glasses might help ;D

Enable Font Smoothening (Clear Type)

1 Right click on desktop
2 Click Properties
3 Click Appearance tab
4 Click Effects
5 Place a check behind “Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts”
6 On the dropdown list, select Clear Type
7 Click OK
8 Click OK again
