guys i’ve been using google chrome and all of a sudden the network shield kept popping up showing that its blocked a malicious connection. the connection was hxxp://footprintsit.com/search/anticheat6.php?username=www
i’m using a windows 7 home basic system. pls help. wat should i do?
edit the URL you posted so it is not clickable…to avoid accident in case it is infected

if not i guess avast saved you 
you may run avast quick scan for a quick check

right click avast tray icon…show last pop up…click the pin in top right corner so it will stay on screen…take screen shot
the system is fine and the msgs stopped after i reinstalled chrome…and the last pop-up is an update msg…so i cant post the screenshot either
