For those that want to commit digital suicide...

Hi malware fighters,

Want to delete all your social profiles like for instance those on Twitter, Hyves, Facebook and MySpace with one push of a button then go to this site : http://www.suicidemachine.org/

This Rotterdam initiative is rather succesful. But your suicide attempt is a one way thing only. When you have given in your user name and password, then there is no way back. In the meantime 40.000 friends will be dumped and 55.000 tweets are being deleted,

Well thanks so much polonus, for the link and the info. I personally don’t use any of the items you’ve listed. No digital suicide for me I’m afraid. I kinda like it this way too. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. “Happy New Years” btw.

This guy can give you links for what ever you want. See his expertise, I say…

Thanks for the link sir pol.

Happy new year.

Thanks Damien,
Don’t think I want to commit ‘Digital’ or any other type of suicide.

Hmmm … if you do this using links and/or advice from someone else, is that considered “assisted suicide”? 8)

I do not want to commit suicide and especially digitally ::slight_smile:

If you are right in your analogy Mike, then Polonus could find himself in the same predicament as Dr. Kevorkian did some years back.

Not a good thing. :o

I bet this will become a social networking fad for the attention-getters over the next year.
Would also be very useful for those that realize what a time-waster some of these sites can be and just want to quietly slip away.

Too attached to facebook for communication ;D

I must be crazy to go that far if I have problems, either in the cyberworld or in reality, besides suicide does not help in any way^^

Thanks for the link Pol^^

I don’t think I will ever delete my social networking accounts unless I am traced by the KGB.

lol, funny I read about two days ago about a web site whose team got banned from facebook because their single goal was to help out newbies on deactivating their accounts there. Even the mentioning of the “project” is systematically wiped from FaceBook , like related posts by anyone can’t be published.

…the thing is too many people just don’t realize how much from their privacy they put at risk on social networks, and there are reactions, and attempts to make people a bit more aware, that’s normal.

Breaking News Seppukoo.com is under attack

Les Liens Invisibles wants to inform everyone that on Dec. 16th, Facebook inc., after it has blocked any attempt of seppukoo from this website and has blocked/deleted all seppukoo.com information into the whole facebook network, has now threatened legal action against us in order to stop the suicide pandemic.

Curiously, Facebook lawyers appeal to the user right to privacy to annihilate our facebook unsubscribe service.

There is nothing called Privacy in Facebook.

Most of the applications are intrusive.

check the video too guys, it’s really interesting and funny

There is if you set it up correctly and not grant Everyone access.

Read what Bill Pytlovany of WinPatrol fame has to say about Facebook:
Who Gets Your Personal Information on Facebook?

Most of the applications are intrusive.
Very true!

@ Chris Thomas

Is the KGB still around?

@ Yokenny

KGB had a name change to FSB few years ago

But its only a name change. Nothing else.

KGB and FSB is the same.

Hi malware fighters,

Facebook was “not amused” and ordered the suicide sites to be blocked:
