Force Client Configuration Refresh or wait for the interval?

Hi All,

We just got our Avast rollout going, and everything has gone smoothly for our first 5 installs!

I have poked around in the documentation, and what-not. And I can’t seem to find a way to do this, or where to set the interval…

So I have 2 questions:

  1. How can I configure how often the clients refresh their configuration?
  2. How can I force them to update their configuration when I want to push a change out immediately?

Hey Brant,

If your using the Enterprise Administration Console then its really easy.

Right click on computer catalog and choose properties. Under Policies: avast! Antivirus there is Service which you can tell it how often to check in to the server.

To apply immediately right click on computer catalog and select apply to group.
