Anyone…please help…very frustrating…I forgot my password to Avast! and I cant uninstall without the password, I can’t change my scan schedule, I can’t stop the process, and no easy way to resolve this problem. Seems like every other program with a password has a contingency plan…might be something to think about in the future eh? In the meantime anyone have a solution to this problem?

You will need to use Avast removal tool. Download avast removal tool reboot and re install avast. Then will be no password as new install will be on default
