I’d like to change the text on outgoing e-mails and have followed the instructions in the “Help” file without success.
I amended the content of aswclntg.txt, saved it, and reloaded Avast4! Test messages showed the original, default text.
My e-mail software is Pegasus 4.11 and HTML mode is disabled - I send everything in plain text. My operating system is Windows XP.
I’ve had Avast4 running for about a week and am impressed with it. If I could just get the “Inserted Notes” to accept my personal text I’d give it 100% marks! Please tell me what I am doing wrong!
