Forum Account issue

For a long while I have NOT been able to access the forum using my standard Email and login password,
I did find this VERY annoying as I am able to access my account with no problem what so ever.
I have contacted Avast asking if they could help me and have used 3 different browsers but nothing.
When this first started I removed the cookies for the website and the forum and have tried from
time to time to access but, always the same story, no login.

So, tonight, after having been told by Avast that they could log in using my account details, that was NOT
true, I have had to use a different email address and Re register and voila, I am able to get into the forum.
I still cannot figure out why I can access the Avast account but NOT the forum with my main email address?

Does anyone have an idea and, if not, can someone tell me how to eradicate the old login details so I can try again?

I can see you have another account under the name ashdaw2 which was created just before you made the account you are using now, which one do you want deleted?

Is only deletion possible? I’m asking for that’s my prob, too and I’m waiting since several months of a repair.

And how do you know? Where you sitting next to the person from avast when he/she was trying it ?

If you have an email address that works, why not make it the default email address for your my.avast.com account ???
You’ll need to add it to your account before you can make it the default or any other changes.

I don’t see any other account under your IP so I cant answer that, if Avast cant see another account then maybe that’s why it hasn’t been merged :-\
