Forum (webpage) behavior

When the user submit two posts is less than 20 seconds it receive a message (blocking the post).
When it tries to click ‘back’ button, waiting for more than 20 seconds and submit again, the user always receive a message that he is posting twice… Why?
Isn’t it a bad behavior, I mean, lost the ability of posting ‘that particular post’ that wasn’t already posted?

For the likes of you and I that may be an issue but for most people it isn’t and if you remember why it was introduced to deter drive by spammers posting multiple spams in a very short time.

If I get that the first thing I do is Copy all the text, just in case it is lost (been there done that got the tee shirt). I usually go back and Refresh the page and paste the contents in again if lost and try the post after a short wait.

It’s not the problem David. I think I did not explain well.
I don’t want the feature is removed, i.e., the forum does not check >20 seconds of sequential posts. I just want to wait and do not ‘lose’ the post I’ve already wrote.

I do this… but I don’t want to do this, I want an intelligent forum behavior that allows me to post the same content after 20 seconds and do not want to start all over again.

Can Alwil do it for me?

Alwil can’t do anything since the forum is run by 3rd party software…

Thanks. Can you, at least, complain with Simple Machines staff?
