I found this strange Avast apps update in Google Play. Is it safe to update?

Yes, it’s safe… It’s the new (non published) channel to update AT.

There’s a reason why it’s not published. Please do NOT install it. Google Play is doing some funny business with us :confused:

yes please do not use it. Its some non-wanted malfunction with Google Play, we are working with Google to fix this.

you can remove the entry from the My Apps list by long-clicking it and selecting the proper Remove icon. The app will stay, the entry will be gone.
