found virus - cannot delete or move to chest

Wondering if anyone can help. After an avast scan where virus have been found, I am unable to delete these or move to chest. What do I do?

Restart computer in safe mode and scan with avast again.
I can´t use “boot-time” because i use windows 98SE so I use this trick.

Please tell us what o/s you are using and the location the viruses were found.

I am windows XP home edition and sorry they are actually infected files that I cannot delete or move. There are six of them - all program files/common files/kazaa/adware. Does this help?

Kazaa :o

Kazza is the biggest piece of adware you can get :slight_smile:

I highly recommend you uninstall kazza, its evil.

Then do an Avast Scan

After the Avast scan, download Microsoft AntiSpyware,

Run MS AntiSpyware.
