Hi
We have a FP and we try to define an exeption but it doesn’t work.
If we look into the Virus Container we found the file C:\EASY\PPUPD.exe
So we tried the following exeptions but both doesn’t work.
?:\EASY*
C:\EASY*.*
Could someone please tell me where the mistake lies.

Don’t know about the AEP, but in the home user versions you can simply browse for a file that you want to add.
It is a old thread, but perhaps it helps > https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=95094.0

Hi Fancisco,
You need to exclude the file for the on-access scanner in the settings template in the console.
Network > Settings > Policy Name
Then choose the Antivirus settings tab and add the exclusion there.
Post a screenshot of your exclusion rule and we can review.
Also as Eddy recommended, always send a FP to virus lab to analyze. Exclusions should be a temporary fix
