Freaking out, please help!

When I was posting my last message in this forum, something weird and scary happened.

First, context: I downloaded RoboForm last week because I was filling out a lot of forms online. It looked like it would be really safe to use. It comes with a main password and stores all your personal info including passwords to all sites. I visit a lot of sites so I thought it would be helpful.

Yesterday I ran Avast because I noticed my internet connection was timing out a lot, and placed viruses in the chest (SdBot).

RoboForm has a “safe” area for sensitive info, where I had put my social security number (SSN). As I was posting here, the little RoboForm window with my SSN in it popped up! I don’t think I hit it by accident. I think someone was remotely accessing my computer and reading it off the screen somehow.

I immediately placed fraud alerts with all the credit companies and uninstalled RoboForm and all the sensitive info in it. Then I checked this board and the reply indicated that these viruses couldn’t harm me anymore because they were in the chest. I placed them in the chest yesterday, but RoboForm was hacked today! What happened? What can I do? I’ve heard of credit fraud ruining people’s lives!

KeyPass is better & much more secure than RoboForm. Also, KeyPass is completely free & not limited like the free version of RoboForm. KeyPass will work with sites RoboForm won’t.

Before freaking out read your other post as I think your SDbot detection is an unencrypted virus signature file from another anti-virus or on-line scanner or possibly a firewall with an anti-virus element, etc.
