Free 4.8 or Free 5.0 ?

Hi there.

Well I use to have avast 4.8 with the blue ball, but I wonder if it is better to change it to version 5.0.

What are the difference between 4.8 and 5.0 free avast, really?

Can 4.8 be updated to 5.0 directly, or must 4.8 be removed from the computer first?

avast 5 has an orange ball and when installed, it drives the user to uninstall version 4 and install the new one.
A lot of things changed: interface, automated actions, scheduling, etc. Besides, higher protection.

meanwhile it’s rather safe 2 upgrade 4.8 to 5.0…
i think u will like the new version, if u give it a try. ;D

@tech: on which systems did u experience that? (since the .462 version i never had probs on different oss with installing it over the old 4.8.1368, installer even overtakes the licences 2 the new version…)
