It’s always sunny in Alice and stinking hot, lay back on the rock for a while and you would soon resemble a fried egg and the dingos will have ya ;D

I chose Bitdefender Free because it is 64bit. If avast! Free was 64bit, I would go avast! Free.

BD free is the lightest and best av.

If avast! was 64bit, it would be the best av.

What’s wrong with avast 8.0.1489
I use it on my windows 7. 64 bits and never had a problem.

OT: Same to me as well on W8

It doesn’t make any difference whether avast is 64 bit or not, on a 64 bit system avast installs itself into the 64 bit program folder and installs the necessary drivers.

BDAVF wasn’t to bad when I first tested it but the last two versions have become very high in resource usage and the freezing bugs when trying to open the UI sometimes is annoying, BDAVF also has very limited options.

You need to get your facts straight.

Yes. It will be interesting to see if the rise in usage of ‘Qihu 360’ will translate into more mainstream media test/review coverage, in addition to AVC & AV-Test.

I’m taking Comdo av for a spin.

People that know me here know I am no I fan of Comodo

I’m giving it a trial as it is 64bit. I wish avast! was 64bit.

Avast! installs in the 64bit folder, but that doest make it 64bit.

As mentioned many times, it isn’t necessary.
It works perfectly on my 64 bit systems.

I don’t trust anything from Comodo,so I dumped it.
