free avast has stopped working; upgrade will not download; error messages

I have an 'Unsecured" warning on my free avast which I have been using for years. Not knowing why (doesn’t expire for another 4 months), I thought maybe purchasing and downloading the upgrade will protect my computer again. I keep getting the same messagesSetup Selfextract

I have since followed the logs to assist in cleaning malware forum and have completed the first couple downloads and scans. I attach the logs completed to date and will need to post the remaining in a couple days as I have just been called away but didn’t want to loose what I have started.
