Free Avast keeps deactivating

Free Avast keeps deactivating on my HP laptop running Win 10 Pro version 1909. When it is in this state I can not reactivate Avast (Windows Defender has taken over). The solution is to reboot the laptop and then Avast is working.

Is there any logs I can provide in hopes of correcting this issue? Thanks

Have you tried a ‘Repair’ of your Avast installation?
Go to Menu in the GUI and select settings then troubleshooting and finally “Repair App” :slight_smile:
