free license renew issue

My free license will expire soon, but I can not renew it via the interface of the software. The new window comes out show me “The online content is unavailable”, but I can visit avast.com. Is there any other way to renew my free license?

But I can’t renew the license via user interface. When I click “Renew now” button, get the information that the online content is unavailable.

    I’ve tried disable 360safe to renew license. Failed.

And I am in China. I don’t know if there is any network problem to visit the license renew service. I’ve installed avast for 5 years. In the past, thers was no problem to renew the license.

First, be sure to get rid of all remnants of your prior installed AV(s)…!!

Then:

  1. Download Avast Free Antivirus: https://files.avast.com/iavs9x/avast_free_antivirus_setup_offline.exe
  2. Follow instructions: https://www.avast.com/uninstall-utility (Run this tool for all prior installed Avast versions…!!)
  3. Reinstall Avast with the downloaded installer from point 1.
  4. Reboot.

I’ve followed the steps remove and reinstall avast. The license renewed. It remains 1095 days. Thank you!
