Free Word Processing or Office Programs for Windows

I am looking for a free word processing or office program to run in Windows XP. I would like to avoid a Java Program so Libre and Open (Apache) Office are out.

Does anyone have any suggestions for just simple home use?

Tried google doc?.. Included in your gmail account

Also outlook.com (hotmail) have online office included

Java QA only. Rewriting of the fax/letter/agenda/web/report/form/table wizards in Python is now complete
Merge filter (FCFGMerge) and utils replaced with Python equivalent.

I have no java installed on my OS, Libre Office 4.3 works fine.

I’ve never tried them myself, so I have no idea how good they are or aren’t. You can check them out to see if they suit your needs.

Use Kingsoft Office Suite. It’s got the whole lot. Word, Excel, and powerpoint. Best thing about this program is that it’s compatible with MS office suite program and it’s free http://www.kingsoftstore.com/kingsoft-office-freeware.html
